In clinically eligible cases, after implant placement a provisional fixed restoration is fitted within approximately 24 hours — you leave with fixed teeth, not a removable denture, from the first stage. The definitive work is completed after the healing period. Eligibility for immediate loading is determined at consultation based on investigations: it depends on bone quality and the clinical situation.
All-on-4 or All-on-6?
The main difference is the number of implants supporting the restoration (4 vs. 6) — the choice depends on bone volume, the arch treated, and the prosthetic plan. Both options are discussed at consultation, with the advantages and limits of each, and the final decision is yours.
